What Is Allowed (without a commercial license)

What Requires a Commercial License

  • ❌ Deploying WP Dash for production use (any environment serving real users)
  • ❌ Offering WP Dash as a SaaS or hosted service
  • ❌ Embedding WP Dash in a paid product or managed service
  • ❌ Using WP Dash on behalf of any company or organization for production purposes

After March 5, 2030

On the Change Date, WP Dash automatically converts to GPL-3.0-or-later.
This means the codebase will be fully open-source under the GPL, which:

  • Requires distributing source code with any distributed binaries
  • Requires derivative works to be licensed under GPL-3.0 as well

WordPress Plugin License

The WordPress plugins (wp-bridge-plugin, wp-wpdash-plugin) are separately released under the GPL-2.0-or-later license, as required by the WordPress plugin ecosystem. This applies only to the plugin code — not to the WP Dash dashboard application.
